The WOW Ladies kicked started 2025 with a return visit to the Pottery Place – Murray Bridge, followed by lunch at 1924 river frontage ending in a shopping stop to Serenity Nursery, all venues did not disappoint.
The Pottery Place hosted by the amazing Susan Christian, welcomed the new group who were able to indulge in a hot cup of tea or coffee accompanied by a tasty biscuit or slice of cake.
With introductions and morning tea over, the ladies then actively noodled with the clay. Eventually after a few go’s for some, they took charge, manipulating and transforming many balls of clay into their own individualised pieces of art, to admire for years to come!
Finished pieces will be available for pick up at MOSHCC Reception from Monday 3rd of February.
Thank you yet again Susan, for the experience and a fantastic day out.
I call on any keen potters new or old to reach out to Susan at, “The Pottery Place – Murray Bridge” to book a session, it really is an experience worth doing.

A visit to any nursey is typically a must do on a ladies to do list, even if its just to relax the mind, walk amongst nature and admire the beauty of the plants offered up for sale. But as you all know, in true form it was hard to pass a good shopping opportunity and not get the purse out!
The bus easily catered for our shopping therapy session, even carrying a beautiful wind feature safely home for one particularly lady. I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures of it up in the garden once it has been installed.
