We have been lucky to have talented artists join us to run workshops in February. Participants were able to attend a Paint and Texture workshop with Gaynor Hartvigsen and a Cyanotype workshop with Mary Pulford.

Who knew that bark, sand, tissue paper (among lots of other things) with acrylic paint can create some stunning pieces? Workshop participants certainly found this out working with artist Gaynor at our recent workshop.
It was a fun afternoon with lots of different techniques given a try. Check out the pictures for some of the results.

Participants in the Cyanotype workshop got to try one of the oldest and most simple photographic printing processes to produce some stunning blue and white prints. Mary guided them through the process and the participants used lace, netting, metal pieces and plant materials to create their prints with some great effects and results. Check out the pictures to see what they came up with.
Keep an eye out for future workshops coming up-lots of opportunities to try new things!
