We were delighted to host Friday Feast on the 21st of February with an authentic Indian cuisine.
The feast held was an opportunity for the community to taste traditional Indian flavours of Chicken and Lentil Curries, both of which were a hit as well as the delicious banana custard chocolate slice for dessert.
MADCA volunteers worked alongside our cook Dee in the Butter Factory kitchen, learning the secrets of making authentic Indian cuisine with Yesamma who showcased her cultural Indian skills and sharing her talents.
One of our newest volunteers, Joel and longtime volunteer, Karen enjoyed this learning experience while Lorraine worked her magic in the MOSHCC kitchen ensuring all the guests were well looked after.
This was the first of many opportunities to come, providing space to share skills, and learn something new cooking in collaboration. Well done team.
