Playtime
Loose parts play and the sandpit have been very popular during break times this term with lots of collaboration and communication skills being practiced. There are certainly some very creative students at Milang this year!
Year 6 Community Service
In Term 2 the Year 6 leadership team at EFS Milang campus decide on a way to help members of the local community. This year they chose to visit the Friendship and Craft group who meet at the Church of Christ on a Wednesday morning.
Before they arrived, the team baked delicious choc chip biscuits to take and share with the group. During the craft session the Year 6’s made tea and coffee for everyone and then chatted with the group about their craft projects and talked a little about themselves. They are hoping to return later in the term to learn and maybe try their hand at some of the crafting skills.
