Friday Feast or MOSH NOSH as we call it. Upper Primary class enjoyed their lunch at the MOSHCC. It is a lovely treat for the students to have a special lunch and our Year 6’s enjoy setting up and serving.
PORT MILANG MUSEUM
As part of History month Milang Students enjoyed a walk to the “Port Milang Museum”.
They were met by Allan, Dianne and Paul, local volunteers of the Milang Historical Society who enjoyed showing us around the museum.
All of our students really enjoyed looking at all of the items from vehicles, typewriters, old principals desk etc. and were very interested in the stories Allan told.
The students also did some sketching’s of some of the things they saw as there were so many to remember.
Thank you so much to the wonderful volunteers who restore and preserve all of our wonderful history. It really was amazing to see.
BUTTER FACTORY VISIT
The students enjoyed a visit to the Butter Factory during history month.
John Bradford showed them around and told them a lot about the history of Milang and showed them some video footage of the school kids a long time ago!! So interesting.
They also loved the old churning machines and all wanted a turn at winding the wheel.
