On Sunday the 13th October at the Milang Regatta/Yacht Club we cut our locks to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Kate Whiting, Ellen D’Arcy and Emma Smith were excited to see a turnout of over 70 people that all made donations to the wonderful cause.
We not only raised awareness for the foundation, but also donated our hair to make wigs to go to Sustainable Salon in Sydney. Angas Smith also jumped on board and shaved his head to raise more money as part of the World’s Great Shave.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to every single person who has donated to this worthy cause and to those of you who attended our event. We would like to say a special thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who also made generous donations to go in the raffle, lucky prize and to purchase food and drinks for the fundraiser.
