Over the autumn/winter season our wonderful volunteers have been serving a tasty lunch of soup and desserts each Friday for lunch. With two soup choices each week, there are not many varieties of soup that we haven’t been able to try plus some delicious desserts.
Starting in September, the volunteers will continue to provide lunch. Soups will be replaced by a main course (including a vegetarian alternative) each week, plus dessert. The cost will be $12. It will be the same cost for everyone, payable on the day. There will be a cap on the number of people that are able to come, so you will need to book in. We will try to publish the menu beforehand, available from reception at MOSHCC

We are so appreciative of our wonderful volunteers who cook and help on Fridays, we couldn’t do it without them. Thank you especially to Cherie, Denise, Greg, June, Karen, Karyn, Lorraine, Sue, Reen and the Year 6 students from Milang Campus that come each week. The students are a highlight of the lunches as they prepare tables & some food, serve and chat with people, a few of them are even mastering a bit of fancy napkin folding. Maybe you would like to volunteer to help as well, contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Vickie at the MOSHCC.
The last soup day will be 30th August, and then Friday Feast lunch will start 6th September. Please note that whilst we will make every attempt to provide the meals, sometimes circumstances change without warning. Bookings at MOSHCC reception 8537 0687.
