In late July, Dave, pictured, dropped into ARB just for “a look”. He told us he was on the road travelling around Australia and at present was Farm sitting in the area. He said it was a regular thing he did, and it gave him the opportunity to travel and see the country.
He was interested in our DVD/Video/CD/Video collection, and mentioned that we had a good selection, some good titles and some not so good stuff, but it all needed categorising, sorting and grouping.
Well, that had been on our “to do” list for a long time and we were a bit reluctant to start it. (A BIG JOB)
Dave said he had the time and offered to do it for us sometime. Whooppee!!
Well true to his word, Dave came back to ARB the following weekend and spent the morning cleaning, sorting, categorising and checking and displaying the dozens and dozens of DVD/CD’s etc. etc.
When he had finished it looks amazing.!
His time, energy and expertise for the cost of a mug of ARB tea!!! How delighted are we ??
You really need to pop into ARB and see the difference.
Not a busy weekend 9th/10th but we had generous donations of $212 which included $50 donated during the weekend before when ARB wasn’t staffed. Thank you everyone for your generosity.
