AgnosticThe “Agnostic” was a wooden cutter made at Milang by George Ross in 1897. It is said that he commenced work on the 10 October, she was launched on the 10 November and she sailed on the 10 December. As you can see in the picture a cutter had one mast forward of the centre of the boat with a mainsail and more than one jib which could be carried by a bowsprit.
